Have you heard yet? I’m moving back to Alaska!
Yes; it’s true! We’re moving back to The Great Frontier later this year! And we’re kind of crazy; so we’re driving the 4,800 miles! This will be our 3rd drive between Florida and Alaska, and once we even tent camped along the drive! Now THAT was an adventure!

We may even be lucky to see a caribou or two in Canada or Alaska!
Caribou and reindeer are the same species, but if it is wild it is called a caribou, and a reindeer is a captive animal.
Soon after we arrive; the snow will fall. But the eagles will remain all winter.
Dall Sheep are a very common sight along the mountains.
And moose can be seen walking the streets of Anchorage, or relaxing on a warm summer day in a field.
These two live at a wildlife center, look at those antlers!
Grizzly bears also live in Alaska.
This elk did a pose for me!
One of my highlights of living in Alaska was riding on the Alaska Railroad!
The railroad tracks sometimes meander through the mountains where there are no public roads.
Another fun place I loved to go was the Alyeska Resort.
The summer was full of paragliders and hang-gliders, and the winter full of skiers!
But don’t speed, or the Anchorage Police may catch you!
I’m so excited to be back! Only 6 more months!
